If you’ve ever felt frustrated or hopeless while dealing with the heartbreaking challenges of Autism, you’re not alone.

More than 3.5 million Americans live with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Severe Autism diagnoses don’t need to be a living death sentence. Many of the severe symptoms of Autism can be greatly reduced, allowing these kids to overcome obstacles and live healthy, enriched lives.

My friend Kristin and the Autism Hope Alliance are gearing up to launch the 3rd Annual Autism Hope Summit: Hope with a Plan: Keeping Families Together, Whole & Healthy!

I serve on the board of the Autism Hope Alliance and am honored to be one of the featured guests discussing  Music Listening Therapy: A Sound Solution for Your Child on the Autism Spectrum.

Better Sleep: Practical Tips for You and Your Child on the Autism Spectrum

Alex_Doman

A staggering 1 in 68 children is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Many of these children suffer severe and debilitating symptoms and are not able to function normally without a lot of specialized help. If you are a parent perhaps your child is one of them. If not, you likely know a family touched by this often-debilitating disorder.

In my 20 + years researching and developing programs to help kids and adults achieve their extraordinary potential I’ve seen countless kids with autism achieve great things in life.  THERE IS HOPE!

That is the message my dear friend Kristin Selby Gonzalez and the team at the Autism Hope Alliance (AHA) have been working hard to bring you and other families affected by autism. This is one of the many reasons I serve on AHA’s Board of Directors.

AHA is putting on the 2nd Annual Autism Hope Summit May 15-20.  In this free, online event, you’ll discover the latest cutting edge brain and gut science, nutritional therapies, and self-care tools that are so powerful they can curb many of the debilitating symptoms of autism, allowing these kids to overcome obstacles and live happy, healthy, and productive lives.

It’s starting soon, and trust me – you do not want to miss this event! I’ll be speaking Monday, May 15, with host Tom Bohager. The topic will be “Better Sleep: Practical Tips for You and Your Child on the Autism Spectrum”. I’m sure sleep is something you never complain about having too much of, and the solutions you’ll learn in this informative talk may help improve bedtime in your own home. You might want to also check out Sleep Genius, our highly-rated iPhone and Android app that was developed following our team’s research helping NASA astronauts sleep better in space.
