Our programs have been used with people with MCI, minimal cognitive impairment, with good results according to client reports. MCI is a precursor to Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. For an individual with Alzheimer’s our programs are not going to stop the progression of neurodegeneration, but may contribute to a better quality of life. We have a line of music you may start with called Sound Health(R) which can be played through headphones or speakers. The albums are produced to be used to help support different functions such as, relaxation, thinking, motivation, etc. Pick some titles to start with, there are ten and see how she responds through speakers. If you find some albums she enjoys, try them on headphones for more effect. If that response is good, you can then explore our music listening therapy method The Listening Program(R). I congratulate you for your excellent work.
I had a question about Alzheimer’s disease. Have you had any experience with such people using your program and making a progress in their use of memory?
Do you also recommend it in these cases?
The reaason why I ask the question is that the person for whom I am thinking to apply this, is so reluctant to listen to the music, that if I have no evidence of any help, it would be difficult to convince her to listen.
And if yes, do you recommend listening with headphones or could she even listen through a normal CD player, or ipod, etc.

My 17 yr old daughter was just diagnosed with visual sensory disorder and also add. We have been struggling with her grades through all of her school age life. Now she is a Junior and recently was admitted into continuation school because of her low gpa. I want to help her but I don’t know where to start. I would love to attend one of your seminars. Will you be coming to northern California soon? She’s so beautiful and has such a big heart but I fear for her future.
